Artists in the Country - Participating Schools

        Local schools have been contacted by Ann of Artists in the Country. The schools that are listed are the ones who have decided to participate in the art weekend. Each school is asked to collect 10-15 pieces of work from their school, a representative sampling of children's work. The work displayed is created by children representing different grades, ages, and academic levels. The display is not meant to be a contest of the best work. The intent is to provide a sampling of the amazing talent of children, including children with special needs. Ann, the organizer of the event, wants all children to be included in the selection of work by their teachers.
        Since the first show, there have been some children whose schools have not participated, but the children have come to the art show and have asked Ann if they can hang a piece in the show, and of course, their work is there!
     A special thanks to all the people involved in helping to pick up artwork from schools, deliver the work back to the schools, and to all the teachers who have participated in this show. This could not be done without your support.
